Enter your projector and drop requirements

Use the projector body dimensions, excluding removable feet and cabling. Ultralift will confirm the final model, clearances and installation requirements before manufacture.

Required travel is the vertical movement from the closed ceiling position to the viewing position. It is not the full ceiling height.

No details are stored or submitted by this tool.

What we need before selection

Provide the projector make, model, body dimensions and weight, together with the ceiling height, required travel, mounting structure, preferred stopping positions, cable path and service-access requirements.

Two-position or three-position?

A two-position lift moves between stored and operating positions. A three-position model adds an intermediate stopping point. Three-position versions are available on selected PRX models and use the -3P ordering suffix.

Standard and engineered configurations

The standard range covers projector bodies up to 900 × 900 × 365 mm, loads up to 50 kg and travel up to 6 metres. Larger or unusual equipment can be assessed by Ultralift’s Melbourne engineering team.

Installation planning

Use an experienced AV installer. Final selection must account for projector alignment, structural support, ceiling clearances, ventilation, power, signal cabling and safe service access before construction is locked in.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Prolift typically used?

Prolift conceals a projector within the ceiling and lowers it to the required viewing position. It is used in boardrooms, education, commercial AV, theatres and premium residential projects.

What information should I provide for Prolift?

Provide the projector make, model, dimensions and weight, throw requirements, lens position, ceiling height, required drop, mounting surface and service-access needs.

What is the difference between two-position and three-position Prolift models?

A two-position model moves between stored and operating positions. A three-position model adds an intermediate stopping point and is available on selected PRX models using the -3P ordering suffix.

Does Prolift need a specialist installer?

Use an AV installer who can confirm projector alignment, structure, cabling and service access. Long drops or unusual mounting surfaces may also require engineering input.
